New book and Events!

Best friends Déjà, Luscious, Chocolate and Chagita have been all but inseparable since childhood, closer than many sisters. Luscious is a stripper by trade, with aspirations to become a choreographer; Chocolate is a free-spirited, razor-blade toting, pistol-packing tattoo artist; her cousin Déjà is a junior executive for a large firm; Chagita runs the daycare for the firm. All have tumultuous pasts, and their present lives are never dull, either.
Déjà is a slightly promiscuous, highly confident and strong willed woman who subconsciously and relentlessly seeks the love and acceptance from her demanding and distant mother, as well as from a succession of men. Little does she know that her family is hiding a secret that will alter her life forever.
Chagita, as a teen, watched as her family was raped, tortured and murdered by a Mexican drug dealer’s henchmen. The bullet intended to kill Chagita instead grazed her head and the driver responsible for disposing of the bodies smuggled her into California, where she was raised by a loving family.
Chocolate was raised by her grandmother and still spends a great deal of time with her; all four girls view her grandmother as their own. Chocolate’s past is entwined with Deja’s in a way that will shock both cousins.
Luscious, while she enjoys stripping, seeks to follow her dream of becoming a choreographer. From New Orleans, she is heavily into voodoo, which makes her friends somewhat uncomfortable.
When Luscious turns down a private dance for a wealthy Russian and Chocolate accepts in her stead, the girls have no idea the twisted chain of events this will set into motion, leading them to Mexico and back and revealing secrets that will change their lives.  Russian mobsters set on revenge, ghosts from the past, and new friends—some of whom have their own secrets—set the stage for a breathless whirlwind of adventure for these “four bad bitches.”
As they struggle to remain alive and to process the shocking secrets they uncover, will the four friends also find lasting love? How will the shadows from their past affect their future?
